All about facials
-
All first time clients booking a facial or treatment will be required to book our introductory facial, the Signature Radiance Facial or the Beeauty Deluxe Facial. This is to get an idea of your skin type and skin sensitivities, if you have any.
-
It is best to come to your facial appointment with no makeup and to remove any earrings, facial jewelry, and necklaces prior to your service.

There should not be any pain, but sensations you may experience during a peel will depend on the strength - very superficial, superficial, medium. They are when the peel is first applied to the skin, it is normal to experience sensations, such as:
- Itching, prickling and/or heat
- Flushing and slight swelling
- Possible tenderness and sensitivity
- Tightness
Throughout the treatment, we will ask if you are having any feelings of activity on your skin to determine your comfort level. You can ask for the peel strength to be adjusted if needed. It is very important that you use the post chemical peel skin care regimen given by the esthetician to get the desired results and avoid any kind of reaction due to the sun, heat, or other skin care products.

It can be slightly uncomfortable between 1mm-1.5mm depth, which is required when correcting acne scars, deep wrinkles, and pigmentation. However, numbing cream is available prior to microneedling treatments to help prevent any discomfort.

All about lashes & brows
-
When performed by a trained and certified professional using high-quality products, a lash lift should not damage your natural lashes. At The Beeauty Hive, we use gentle, lash-safe formulas specifically designed to enhance and protect your lashes during the process. Aftercare is important, and we’ll guide you through the best ways to maintain your results while keeping your lashes nourished and strong.
-
To get the best results from your lash lift, please arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes, no mascara, eyeliner or oils.
Avoid using waterproof mascara or heavy eye creams for at least 24 hours before your appointment, as residue can affect the results. If you wear contact lenses, we recommend removing them beforehand.
-
To get the best results from your brow lamination, if possible please arrive with a clean brow area, no brow products, or oils. It’s also best to avoid tweezing or waxing your brows right before your appointment; we can help with shaping as needed during the service. Arriving fresh-faced helps us give you the longest-lasting, most flawless results.
All about make up
-
Please arrive with a clean, moisturized face. Free of any makeup, including mascara or brow products. Exfoliating gently the night before can help create a smooth canvas. If you have any skin sensitivities, allergies, or specific preferences, please let us know in advance. Wearing a button-up or wide-neck top is also helpful if you're changing clothes after your appointment. Most importantly, arrive relaxed and ready to enjoy your experience!
-
Please avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinning medications (like aspirin or ibuprofen) for at least 24 hours beforehand, as they can increase sensitivity and bleeding. Refrain from tweezing, waxing, laminating or tinting your brows for 3-4 weeks prior, so we can work with your natural shape. Avoid using skincare products with retinol, acids, or exfoliants around the brow area for 3-4 weeks before your appointment, as these can make the skin too sensitive. Must have stopped Accutane 6 months prior. It’s also best not to schedule your appointment during your menstrual cycle if you’re more sensitive to pain. Come to your appointment well-rested and hydrated, with your brows clean and makeup-free.
These are general guidelines for preparing for your permanent makeup brow appointment. Certain health conditions or medications may prevent you from receiving this treatment, so please contact us to confirm your eligibility. We're happy to answer any questions you may have.
